Accessing Electronic Resources

Current UBC students, faculty, and staff can access licensed Library electronic resources, including ejournals, Indexes & Databases and other resources, from anywhere in the world. All you need is a valid Campus-Wide Login (CWL) or UBC Library Card.

Not a current UBC student, faculty or staff member? Alumni, Community Borrowers, and members of the public have access to these unrestricted databases.

EZproxy

To get instant access, all you need to do is start your research from the UBC Library web site. No setups required!

When accessing an ejournal, ebook or database, EZproxy will automatically determine whether you are a valid UBC patron. If it cannot determine you are valid, it will ask you to provide your login credentials (i.e. CWL or Library Barcode/PIN).

To get started, go to the EZproxy login page at https://login.ezproxy.library.ubc.ca.
