Faculty interviews are a crucial part of the faculty hiring process, and we at the Learning Centre want it to go as smoothly as possible

For the candidate

If you are presenting from your own device, please ensure that it can display to VGA or HDMI. If you are using a Mac laptop, we can provide you with a Thunderbolt or USB-C adapter. We are unable to support any other connections. You should also make sure that your device is fully charged or that you use a power cable.

For the chair of the hiring committee

If you would like to have the lecture videotaped, please put in your request a week in advance, so that we can ensure that we can assist you. Please alert the


After the lectures

If a request has been made to record the lecture, the Learning Centre will upload the video to UBC's Kaltura video server and embed the video on a password-protected page on the Learning Centre's website.
