Jim Campbell

Jim Campbell (born in Chicago 1956) is anSan Francisco based artist who have been a leading character in the realm of new media arts. Campbell mainly uses LED lights as his medium. Most of his sculptures are consisted of small dots of lights shining to create a stunning sensational space. [1]

Group and Solo shows

Jim Campbell had his first group show in San Francisco Museum of Modern Art in their Fifteenth Anniversary Show on 1990. And he had his first solo show in Fresno Art Museum titled Hallucination. He have been active in the art world ever since. [2]

Education

Jim Campbell received his education from Massachusetts Institute of Technology on 1948 receiving a BS in both Mathematics and Electrical engineering. [3]
