The World Health Organization invented a bolting tool called Alcohol Use Disorder Identification Test (AUDIT) that has two versions, one for doctors, and another one is for self-reported. It used to evaluate participants or patients in the control group about drinking preferences, liqueur utilization, and problems that happened when people drink alcohol and whether they are addicted or have experienced more than once detoxification treatment[1].

Addiction & Dependence:

Addiction defined as the uncontrollable behavior that happened when drug users have a demand for drugs, although the addicts already know they will be detrimental in mental, physical, even hurt surroundings. It related to desire, which caused damaging behavior. Addiction also can be considered as a disease affected by hereditary, social-psychological factors, and also elements in the environment. In order to hold a healthy state and keep well-functioned, there is a need for more drugs called dependence. Suspension or reduction in dosage can lead people into a withdrawal state, and the symptoms depend on the type of medication. Also, dependence classifies into physical and psychological dependence. Physical dependence usually refers to term dependence, while psychological dependence expresses a desire for drugs.

There is a differential characteristic between dependence and addiction is that dependence been known as a normal physiological reaction to the drug or medicinal substance, while addiction is an unusual response. The withdrawal reaction and resistance generally lead to a combination of addiction and dependence[2].
