Gammaproteobacteria

From the phylum Proteobactia, bacteria members are all Gram-negative, with a distinctive lipopolysaccharide cell membrane layer. This group includes most medically important genera such as Escherichia coli, Vibrio cholerae, and Salmonella spp.
