ADHD

Overview

ADHD was first systematically dealt with in the 70's by Peter Conrad. Since 1990, the diagnosis and stimulant treatment of ADHD has increased drastically world wide, both in children and adult population.

Children

School is a major cause of children getting ADHD treatments. But even among schools the opinions regarding ADHD treatment of children are divided between social class. Study shows that younger upper-class school teachers tend to support medical use for ADHD more so than older lower-class school teachers.

Adult

From 2003-2008, there has been roughly 4-fold increase for adults
