Elearning:E-Portfolio FAQ

From UBC Wiki

General Questions

Q: Why should I create an electronic portfolio?

A: Beyond simply keeping track of information, the purpose of the Portfolio is to help you actually demonstrate to potential employers, graduate schools, or others that you have the skills you claim to have. Instead of just saying that you have a particular ability, you can prove to the viewer of your Portfolio that you possess the ability by including a paper you wrote, a problem you solved, a presentation you made--the possibilities are nearly endless.
