Efnet

Efnet, the Eris-Free Network, one of the oldest IRC networks, was created in 1990 by introduction of a Q-line to defeat the open linking policy of eris.berkeley.edu. http://www.efnet.org/ provides a webchat interface to the fun, which continues unabated. Efnet is a good example of how a University ought to be run.
