Needed Changes - Collecting Usage Metrics | 1 | 19:11, 9 January 2020 |

- This reads like it is for open education initiatives tracking metrics (which makes sense) but we should focus more on the individual who wants to track usage for their text as this is a guide for faculty and staff not groups managing OER projects. I think a lot of editing can happen here - especially in the preamble.
- I think we should add some information on how you can portray these statistics for tenure and promotion. This is work that Will and I have wanted to do for a some time. There is a bit of information here: http://guides.library.ubc.ca/academic_profile/impact Perhaps add a heading with that for now with TBD.

1. I edited the content and removed anything that was more institutional/departmental and focused on things that faculty will be able to do. 2. Done

- Ok, so some of the comments on put on the release and post-release page can be considered here. I think we can develop more strategies that can be listed. - get your booked inside an institutional and/or OER repository; get your book catalogued at your academic library; send the messaging out to the OE community through listservs & orgs; etc.
- maybe take a crack at some ideas and we can meet to discuss

Actually - I just saw the release page info. I guess I'm questioning why this one needs to exist then. Maybe we can condense this one with another page?

Okay! I'll move this over and mark this page for deletion
