Gallery Walk Instructions

Throughout the 2010 Learning Conference, we encourage everybody partaking in the gallery to contribute their thoughts and experiences about what makes a great learning environment to either one of the following wiki pages:

• http://wiki.ubc.ca/Documentation_talk:World_Cafe/UBC's_Learning_Environment
• http://wiki.ubc.ca/Documentation:World_Cafe/UBC's_Teaching_Environment

There are a number of ways you can participate:

• Join us during a World Café on Nov. 15. More details will be available at http://events.ctlt.ubc.ca/.
• Write down your experiences on the sticky notes provided on the World Café tables and put them on the board.
• Or, contribute to the discussions on Learning Environment and Teaching Environment wikis.

Wiki Instructions

If you are not familiar with using the wiki, please follow the short 4-steps outlined below. Don't worry about proper formatting as we will have somebody perform edits at a later date.

Step 1:

• Visit http://wiki.ubc.ca and login using your CWL by clicking the button found on the upper right hand corner of the page.

Step 2:

• Visit either one of the following wiki pages:

  • http://wiki.ubc.ca/Documentation_talk:World_Cafe/UBC's_Learning_Environment
  • http://wiki.ubc.ca/Documentation:World_Cafe/UBC's_Teaching_Environment

Step 3:

• Make sure you're in the DISCUSSION section and then click the EDIT button.

Step 4:

• Just start writing under the questions and click SAVE when you're done. As mentioned before, don't worry about formatting. We'll fix it for you later. Your contributions are now part of the discussion!
