Kaltura Kaltura is an open source video platform that we use to upload our videos and send embedded codes to website developers. This platform is currently only used for Center for Teaching, Learning and Technology (CTLT) to upload videos onto their website.
Kaltura has a 2GB limit uploading directly from the website. Now that the quality of our videos is increasing, it has been difficult to maintain a good quality video and under 2GB file size. Here are the steps to upload files larger than 2GB from our server to the Kaltura server.
This is also a good tool to use to batch upload videos. All you need to do is continue to add the information of multiple videos onto the spreadsheet.

6. Open the Web browser and go to www.Kaltura.com a. At the Dashboard tab, click Submit CSV/XML. Locate your file
7. The browser will relocate you to the Content page to show your upload. If you do not see it yet, click Refersh on the top right and it should appear shortly. The page does not refresh automatically so you will need to hit Refresh to see that the file is complete. (It will take a long time)
8. Once you have uploaded your files, make sure to go into System Preferences > Sharing > Websharing and turn this off.
