3D Printing Equipment

Equipment and Tools

For a list of all the equipment and tools available to use in the Makerspace, as well as miscellaneous consumables such as adhesives, please see this sheet.

Electronics

The makerspace keeps a stock of basic electronics that are available for students to use. You can find the list of electronics and medical-related equipment and consumables by viewing this sheet. If you notice any of the consumable items on this list are out or that the stock is running low, please inform Kevin.

Leftover Materials and Electronics

Every year, some groups leave behind extra unused materials that were purchased for their projects. We encourage current students to use these materials. If you see an item on the list that you would like to use, please contact Kevin to reserve the item for your group.

Compatible Materials and Vendors

Below is a material list for the ProtoMAX Waterjet Cutter, the Epilog Fusion Pro 36 Laser Cutter, and the Carbride 3D Nomad 3 Desktop CNC Mill. It also contains some links to potential vendors.

Extra Learning Resources

UBC Engineering Physics Project Lab Website: The ENPH department has developed a website over several years containing many helpful resources that may be helpful for you in your own design courses. While helpful, keep in mind that the information on this website does not specifically apply to SBME. Always follow the rules set out by the SBME teaching team.
