Welcome to the Laser Cutting Page! Here you can find information about our Epilog Fusion Pro Laser Cutter which is an industrial machine capable of engraving, cutting, and marking. If you would like to use the waterjet cutter, please speak to a TA or the Makerspace Technician to book a time.

Specifications

Working Area: 36” (X) x 24” (Y) x 9″ (Z)

Materials: Acrylic, delrin, fabric, fiberglass, and wood, and is able to engrave and mark most plastics, anodized metals, glass, fabric, paper, and wood. Software: The Makerspace has a designated Laser Cutting laptop pre-loaded with InkScape and the Epilog Fusion Software. Please come with a prepared .dxf file. To use a personal computer, please download Inkscape (https://inkscape.org/release/inkscape-1.4/windows/64-bit/msi/?redirected=1) and the Epilog Software Suite (https://www.epiloglaser.com/en-ca/support/drivers/fusion-edge-maker-pro-drivers/#software), which includes Epilog Job Manager and Dashboard.
