Using the Laser Cutter
Control Panel
Please see this page from the manual detailing the buttons on the control panel:
Steps for Making a Cut
The laser cutter is to only be used under the supervision of a trained TA or the Makerspace Technician. It is important to remember that the laser cutter will interpret any line as a cut if it is 0.1pt or lower (Inkscape / general) or a hairline width line (CorelDraw). Anything above this line width will be set to engrave by default. The following guide is to help walk you through the process of using the laser cutter.
