Objectives -- participants will be able to:

• Define open scholarship and how each area (i.e. access, education, data, research, etc.) intersects
• Give examples of each area in open scholarship
• Identify core resources for each area of open scholarship
• Identify faculty and student risks associated to working in the open, including sharing in copyright, security, and privacy
• Develop strategies to address potential risks and challenges when planning to engage in open practices
