What were the hardest sections/ material in Math 104? Definitely the word problems involving related rates or optimization. It was most difficult to initially set up the question, and understand what to do.


What were the easiest sections/ material in Math 104? Simple derivatives were the easiest and most straight-forward problems to solve. Sure implicit differentiation got tricky, but simple derivatives were by far the easiest.


Advice for new students to Math 104?

1. Make sure you keep up. Do the weekly problems assigned from the book or from our website and don’t forget to ask question if you are stuck. Go to the LSK for free math tutoring.

2. Do the WEBWORK properly. We have guides on how to do WEBWORK and assignments in groups or alone, so make sure to look at those.


How do you study for tests? With this new resource, make sure to check out all the different instructional pieces on different Math 104 sections and do the practice problems associated.
