From UBC Wiki

Camtasia (Pre-recorded)

We suggest using Camtasia for your video capture and editing for pre-recorded videos.

Camtasia is one easy and accessible software for editing pre-recorded videos. It allows you to both record your screen and audio and edit your video. In particular, the ability to edit the audio and video separately is a useful feature of this software. You can also add annotations, add still images, etc. There are numerous instructors in the department who have experience with Camtasia.

Free to faculty and student at UBC. Captures the screen and audio. Easy-to-learn editing tools. See this link for a guide on how get started with Camtasia at UBC.
