Documentation:LTS Service Catalogue/DropBox

From UBC Wiki

Dropbox is a free cloud-computing file sharing tool that allows you to:

  • synchronize files
  • share files
  • access your files online
  • access files from mobile devices
  • do automatic online backups
  • keep your files secure and private

Quote from a happy user: “I’ve been using Dropbox for over 2 years now and since I don’t hold the secrets to the free world in my folders, I accept the potential security risk of cloud file storage in exchange for the ultimate ease of use in syncing, sharing, backing-up and access. I never again will suffer from a hard drive crashing or laptop being stolen.”DropBox is a sandbox technology and is in the early stages of adoption at Sauder. While sandbox technologies are not fully supported, we will do our best to assist you.

This service is available to Faculty and Staff of the Sauder School of Business.
