Kaltura is a platform to stream multimedia content. Institutions, like companies, universities, public agencies, etc, can use Kaltura to organize audio, video and image content. It is an alternative to using compartmentalized video, or image or audio delivery tools. Best practices for education suggest that using a tool like the Kaltura suite, which has successfully been deployed as a campus-wide media commons, will be a useful interval to blend created content of institutions with the owned digital assets procured from publishing/distribution sources.
