Protected: The environment in UBC Wiki is more protected compared to Wikipedia. All of the articles are publicly visible, but only editable by users who have CWL.
Iterative: There is no final draft in Wikipedia. The articles are always in development
Copyright: All work has to be CC(Creative Commons) licensed and needs attention to copyright.
Editing: Writing in a wiki requires familiarity with wiki markup which can take some time to learn.
