Getting to know the email tool

The following activity will help you become familiar with the email tool. However, before you can send or receive email, you need to check your email address in your profile to make sure it is correct, if you haven't already done so.

To get started, you're going to introduce yourself to one of your classmates.

  1. In the course tools menu, go to the email tool
  2. Select 'Single / Select Users'
  3. Select one of your classmates from the list
  4. Give the message a subject and write a welcome message to him/her.
  5. Attach a document or image that represents a place you enjoy visiting. What do you like about that place?
  6. Submit the message.

If you receive a message from your classmates, please respond to let them that everything is working as it should.
