Course Development

For most questions or concerns, please contact your instructional designer.

Advice and Guidance on Learner Related Issues

Enrolment Services Learner Support Staff will:

  • Assist you with any questions related to student registration status.
  • Liaise with you regarding academic concessions (such as course extensions).
  • Arrange for invigilated final exams for distance education students.
  • Assist with questions regarding final grade entry on the FSC.

Course Support and Materials

  • Course package updates and arrangements for teleconferences as required by course design.
  • Management of student contact information.
  • Liaison with UBC Bookstore.
  • Manages student communication (orientation) at the start of term.

Exams

Enrolment Services are responsible for the following:

  • Invigilating print-based exams for CTLT delivered courses.
  • Maintaining an exam bank for CTLT delivered courses.
  • Notifying you when exams have been collected from provincial exam centres and are ready for grading.

Contact the Distance Learning Helpdesk if you need:

  • Technical support for your online course.
  • Course edit support for your online course.
