How to Create Your CWL Account

• Guest Accounts
  • CWL guest accounts grant access to UBC Wireless, VPN, and other online services.
    • Get setup instructions http://www.it.ubc.ca/cwl/support/tutorials/create_account.shtml
    • Sign up for a guest account https://www.cwl.ubc.ca/SignUp (Your sponsor must have already created your guest identity)

Here are the steps to create your CWL account:

• Step 1
  • Before creating a guest account, you will need the following:
    • The guest ID number: We will give these to you
    • The secret word or phrase: falafel
• Step 2
  • Go to Sign up for a CWL Account Now https://www.cwl.ubc.ca/SignUp/
  • 
• Step 3
  • At the bottom of the Welcome screen, click Proceed.

• Step 4
  • Read the Terms of Agreement. You must agree to the terms if you want to open and use an account.
• Step 5
  • If you agree with the terms, select I Agree.
  • 
• Step 6
  • Select Guest as the type of account you want to create and click Continue.
• Step 7
  • Enter the information requested.

• Step 8
  • Click Continue to complete the create a CWL account.
