Documentation:CTLT programs/CTLT Institute/2005 - 2009 Programs
TAG Institutes are held annually, usually during late May/early June. Members of the UBC teaching community are invited to attend, free of charge, between five and eleven days of participatory seminars on teaching, learning and academic growth topics. From 25 – 55 half-day and all-day seminars are offered. Participants may register for one seminar or many, and are encouraged to customize schedules that meet their availability and interests.

What participants have said about the Institute:
"This is the place where I have the time to explore NEW ideas, talk to people & begin to THINK and RE-THINK how to integrate, implement ideas to make my class more interactive and learning centered. Thanks!" Joanne Nakonechny, Science Centre for Learning and Teaching (Skylight)
"Updates me on new technology in teaching. Helps refocus me on improving teaching effectiveness." Markus Fengler, Lecturer, Mechanical Engineering
"I LOVE talking with other teaching and learning practitioners, because they have such a wealth of experience in trying out practices and seeing how they work. By sharing these experiences, we all benefit much more than if we just reflected only on our own." Christina Hendricks, Instructor, Department of Philosophy
