Documentation:CTLT102b

From UBC Wiki

This 102b meeting room is set up as a hybrid meeting space.

This setup works best when the room PC (Mac Mini with HDMI 1 sticker) is used to connect to the room monitor and Zoom, since the PC is connected to both the microphone and camera.

  • Sound: In order to prevent mic echoing, if you plan to have another person joining from the laptop in-person, make sure the laptop sound is off.
  • Microphone/speaker: The mic works best when you speak closely to the Anker mic. I added two USB extensions so you can move it around the table as needed.
  • Keyboard/Mouse: I connected all USB keyboard and mouse devices to the room PC since the Bluetooth set was running low on battery. There are a lot of USB code so please be careful not to trip.
  • Sharing Video on Zoom:
    • When sharing your screen (from either your own laptop or the room PC), make sure the “Share Sound” option is checked before sharing.
    • For audio output on your laptop, set it to “ZoomAudio Device”.
