Review of Bongo Drums by Hannah Rubia and Saakshi Patel

  • Physics content: Only an outline of the project has been provided and has not been fully expanded upon. It mentions diagrams, but none have been attached for viewing. A description of the experiment has been mentioned, but not presented. Physics content could be greatly elaborated on.
  • Clear explanations: A more detailed history, construction and acoustics of the instrument is needed. A lot more clarification would help this project. Some suggestions for content elaboration:

What are the different tones for a typical bongo drum? What kind of wood is it made of? Whom was the instrument created by? Are Bongo drums within a subcategory of percussion instruments?

  • Length and structure: The project draft does not meet the minimum word count of 1000 words. It was approximately 250 words long. Adding more detailed content in the form of paragraphs instead of bullet points would help with comprehension. References are not properly cited in-line according to the given format. The introductory material is unclear and should preferably be before the contents list.
  • Writing style: Some sentences are incomplete and the content is presented only in point form and not in coherent paragraphs. The usage of "we" does not adhere to a scholarly Wiki writing style. References have been made in MLA format instead of in the Wiki citation style.
  • Diagrams: Mention has been made of diagrams to be added, but none are visible.
  • Photographs: These are also lacking in the project draft.
