Are we allowed to use a calculator at the final? Or if it's not needed, which would be great news :D

Nope, no calculators.

Jump and removable discontinuities?

Hi David,

I was just going through the WeBWorK homework, and was wondering if we need to know the definitions of a jump discontinuity and a removal discontinuity. Thanks!

Hi Ben,

As I mentioned in class, we don't care that much about these actual words. The core idea is that there are many different reasons a function might not be continuous at a point, that's what we want you to know and be able to discuss.

All right, cool.

I was pretty sure we wouldn't have to, and having actually asked the question just made me remember the terms anyway, but I figured it was better to check than not.

Thanks!

Past Exams?

Hi David,

I was wondering if you could post a past exam with solutions

Thanks,

Hi Matt,

Sorry, but the exam from last year is way different and I don't have the solutions for it anyway. The review questions that I've posted should provide plenty of help.
