Remarks on your contribution to the Basic Skills Project

Dear group 10,

The TA and I have reviewed your work. Here are our assessment of your work.

  • Presentation: Not very readable and organized. Minimal organization, stil looks like scratch work?
  • Mathematical content: Just examples, not that much content, Group 9 had more content.
  • Overall perceived effort: Definitely not a lot of effort, seeing the lack of organization, content and references.

TA Comments on Homework 4

Good job overall guys! The presentation is good and organized. But what happened to question 3? Please communicate with your group members to have all the questions finished! Also, a chart or diagram would be helpful as visual aids, since it is difficult to read the logical deductions in words.

Remarks on the presentation of your main page

Dear group 10,

Please, put some order to your main page. Create subpages, add titles if needed, but if you have an honest look at it, it is quite messy. If you have technical difficulties, consider looking at the help pages or talking to me (a reply below this, or an email would do).

Many thanks,

TA Comments on Homework 3

Good job guys! You answered most of the questions correctly. I would second David's suggestion, since I originally thought you didn't do the last five questions. Please keep your work as a whole! A few pointers:

  • Please write down more of your thought processes! It is hard to tell how you solved the problems, after all, that's the most important exercise in this homework! Right now I'm only seeing sketches of your thought processes. Please give more details!
  • Read the questions more carefully! Do not make groundless assumptions or jumping to conclusions. Check your answers after you've arrived at them!
