I added lifestyle as another category. I was thinking that means of communication to mold society.

Lifestye fits in perfectly as it impacts greatly on whether a society is oral or depends on other forms of communication.

I decided to add sound as it is a crucial part of orality. I have left this term purposely vague so it will hopefully create some good linkages.

I started a couple of sub-headings. I'll add more once others have had a chance to contribute.
