Course talk:Carey HIST501/Project 3/Stephen II

Hi Bryan, Reading for touches on Stephen II gives me much joy. I am glad to discover some of the humanitarian gestures of Stephen II. It seems to me that it is high time the contemporary church emulates such good gestures to make the poor feel belonged to the body of Christ. If the gap between the poor and the rich keeps widening in the church, I wonder how we will be able to witness the Christian faith to the world. Stephen II took care of that, but many modern church leaders seem unconcerned. May God help us.
