Your idea is quite interesting. The "something extra" part seems too ambitious. I am unsure if you can get it done by the deadline. For the base part, you do recommendation based on ratings. For the extra part, you may add other criteria such as game themes. I presume there is an NL interface to the recommendation system, which also contributes to the complexity of your project.
