Environments Impact on Growing Chives

Abstract

This research proposal aims to investigate the effect of temperature on the growth speed of chives. Chives are relatively familiar plants which are commonly raised in households. This study was designed on the basis of easy accessibility and rapid growth of chives. Temperature is a crucial component in plant growth. The optimal growth rate of the chives is mostly found in warm temperatures. Excessively high temperatures can stress plants and impede their growth, while extremely low temperatures can slow down growth. Therefore, the objective of this study is to determine the ideal temperature range for chive growth and measuring the effect of temperature on chives.
