Project proposal summary

According to the United Nations Sustainable Development goal 1 “the creation of productive employment opportunities is essential for poverty reduction, sustainable economic and social development.” Therefore our topic is to lift people with disabilities who are unemployed out of poverty. Our literature review shows that public’s attention to the disabled has declined over time. Because of one of defects, it’s difficult for them to find a job, especially for people with physical disabilities, it’s hard for them find a stable position in physical industry. Therefore, our group aims to show that virtual industry is more friendly for people with physical disabilities than physical industry, which can help them find jobs easily and get rid of poverty.

We will first make a questionnaire and publish it on the Internet to select disabled people with physical disabilities to participate in interview. After the interview, we will collect and analyze data, to see how participants view impact of virtual industry on employment. Finally, summarize result and answer research question.
