How Can Food Security be Improved in Somalia?

Our group proposal aims to help to solve the food security problem in Somalia. We find out that due to the problems of lack of technology use, and technology skill problems in agriculture. Many people in Somalia cannot get enough food to meet the basic needs every day. In addition, because of external war, much storage of food is destroyed and broken. In order to increase the food insecurity problem in Somalia, we suggest improving education, avoid conflict and receive global help from the world. To solve the food insecurity problem in Somalia will help boost the global average economy, leading to the improvement of the quality of life of the world. The contribution of scholarship of our group proposal is enhancing people's awareness of the importance of education, tell people to cherish peace and stay away from war, and call on the whole people to help those who are in danger and need help.We analyze sustainability from three perspectives. Improving and increasing agricultural technology may be a strategy for sustainable development.Improving and increasing agricultural technology may be a strategy for sustainable development from the perspective of the environment. For example, how to adapt crops to extreme weather? From an economic perspective, improving the agricultural productivity of Somalia can not only meet the local food supply, but also export to the outside world and increase income. Finally, from a social perspective, eliminate hunger, especially for vulnerable groups, and ensure that they have safe and nutritious food all year round.
