How effective are existing water solutions in Chennai?

As for our research project, our research topic is about clean water and sanitation. Our project title is the effectiveness of existing water solutions in Chennai India. The reason why we want to conduct this research is that water problem is quite important for people all around the world. In the international community, water and sanitation problem is related to all human beings in every country. We chose Chennai as our research site is that Chennai has relatively high rainfall levels compared to other cities in India, but water problem is still serious. Citizens are suffering from water pollution and bacteria in their daily life for the domestic water consumption. There are many water solutions implemented for many years, but the effectiveness of these solutions is not illustrated. So, we decided to fill this research gap by using qualitative research method which is interview to Chennai citizens about their real-life experiences about water solutions. In this case, our research question is that how effective are exiting water solutions in Chennai?
