Moisture change in rice as it cooks

Abstract

In this project, we examined the water content of rice as it steams. We confirmed that water content increases as rice steams, and came up with a mathematical model describing the water content of steaming rice over time.

Biographies

Peiyan Song is from Henan Province of China. He graduated in Zhengzhou Xin Feng Yang foreign language high school. He is studying in UBC Vantage One Bachelor of Science program right now.

Xinyi Liang is from China. Her interest is to grow flowers, because she can get satisfaction when they are blossom.

Qian Tang comes from Hunan Province in China. She graduated from the University of Winnipeg Collegiate in Canada. She is studying in UBC Vantage One Bachelor of Science program right now.

Yilun Pan is from Henan Province of China. He graduated from in Luoyang No.1 Senior High School. He is studying in UBC Vantage One Bachelor of Science program right now
