Wenyi He (Zoe)

I’m Zoe from UBC and studying in Vantage Arts, my Chinese name is 赫⽂漪. I have been in Canada for 4 years. I have always seen news about environmental pollution caused by unsustainable objects such as plastic bottle and environmental problems have always been my concerns. So I choose the topic of sustainability and I would like to do some research within this field to promote sustainability and learn deeper on this topic.

Yifang Zhang(Hailey)

My name is Yifang Zhang, you can also call me Hailey. I come from China. My hometown is in the north of China, not only with a large population, but also a major agricultural province. In free time, I would like to do sports, watch movies and tast delicious foods. My favorite food is hot-pot. And I have twin brothers and sisters.

Feifan Duan (Ivan)

My Chinese name is Feifan Duan, and my English name is Ivan. I like playing football and singing. I often take part in some football matches, and I am the president of our high school football club. I also took part in the UBC campus League last year, and won the Tier3 championship. Football is very important for me because it gives me confidence, and also makes me understand many principles, such as the importance of teamwork and how to exercise leadership.

Haoyang Xu (Jason)

My name is Haoyang Xu, and you can call me Jason. I am 19 years old. I am an arts international student in UBC. I come from Shandong where a province in the east part of China, and I have been in Canada for two years. In the past two years in Vancouver, I have seen a lot of virgin forests because I love nature. In daily life, I attach great importance to the protection of the natural environment.

Our research is about the consumer sustainable consumption behaviour. Our research is studying on university students, so fashion brands companies can more easily adjust clothing products to meet their fashion and sustainable criteria. Our research will be able to encourage and inspire participants and audiences rethink the importance of sustainability and their consumer behaviors on clothes. Moreover, the public can benefit from this study because purchasing sustainable clothing will help protect the environment.
