My name is Qi Qi and you can also call me Jessica. Currently, I am a Vantage Arts student at UBC. I am interested in sustainable tourism in transportation because personally, I am a travel enthusiast and I believe for most of Vantage students, they have a lot of travel experience. In our project, I want to know how Vantage students choose vehicles when they travel around. Besides, I hope more people can contribute to the sustainable development of tourism after knowing more about our research.

I am Yutong Cui and you can call me Katrina. I am an undergraduate student at UBC Vantage College. My group members and I are doing a survey which is about sustainable tourism. We focus on the transportation point of view because we often experience air traveling while we go home and back to Vancouver. I am really interested in stuff that is related to environmental issues. I hope we can learn something from the data we will collect and make more people understand sustainability.

I am Bingchen Sun and you can call me Wendy. I have experienced a meaningful year at Vantage College in my first year at UBC. As an international student, I have spent a lot of time traveling through transportation, and I am interested in my eco-footprint and vehicles’ environmental outcomes. In the course VANT 149, my teammates and I would like to welcome every Vantage peer to participate in our survey about transportation in sustainable tourism. Also, I hope that more students can raise awareness of the sustainability of energy, environment, and tourism.

I am Xuan Sun and you can call me Icey. I am a student at Vantage College at UBC. Life is enjoyable for me as I love traveling when I have spare time. In the course VANT 149, I realized the importance of sustainability in our daily lives. Therefore, three like-minded classmates with me conducted a survey about transportation in sustainable tourism. I hope that other Vantage students could know more about their eco-footprint and understand the meaning of sustainable tourism. Also, they could learn many practical ways to develop sustainable tourism in terms of renewable energy from the project.
