Researcher 2:

Dawn was born and grew up in Shandong, China. She likes spicy food and chatting with her friends. Sometimes she goes to different cities in Shandong to explore the local food and culture there, and finds that there are great disparities in development among cities in her province. People in less-developed cities tend to move to the more economically developed cities. This situation aroused her curiosity, thus, she shows interests in studying more about how population growth in cities influence their sustainable development.

Researcher 3:

Victoria was born in Hebei and grew up there until she came to study abroad. She likes hanging out with friends and trying new restaurants and food in her free time. Her hometown is a very small city, so in her extended family, half of her cousins chose to study and find jobs in the developed cities. Due to this, she is very interested in why they chose to move, and how the local people see those new immigrants in their cities may or may not influence their sustainable development.
