Biographies

Luna

Researcher 1:

Hello everyone, this is Luna. I am 20 years old now and have been studying at Vantage College for nearly a year. For our topic, firstly, to be honest, I do not eat meat very much. I prefer vegetables and seafood to meat. If let me list one of my favorite meats, then I choose to eat fish. Based on what I learned from research, I reduced the intake of meat, and even reduced the intake of some seafood to protect the sustainable development of agriculture.

Jade

Researcher 2:

Hello, this is Jade Hu, a co-investigator from group 17. My hometown is Hunan Province, China. Through this study, I learned about the damage to agricultural sustainability caused by excessive meat consumption. In the future, I plan to change my eating habits and choose meats and products that are beneficial to agricultural sustainability. I have always liked to eat chicken before, because of some health reasons. Through this research, I learned that the carbon emissions of chickens are not very large. It is a sustainable meat. I think I will choose to eat chicken more in the future.

Hello, I am Joanna and I come from Zhejiang Province, China. It is nice to study at Vantage College to improve my second-language. I have learned a lot from our research study, especially the impact of red meat consumption on the environment and the damage on biodiversity. Because of that, I decide to reduce the amount of meat consumption and prefer to eat more vegetables.
