History

Bongos are one of the many percussion instruments that were originated in Cuban music in the late 19th century. (add more)

Physical Structure of Bongos

Bongos are open shell drums that are made of two different size drums attached next to each other. (add more)

Playing Techniques

Traditionally, player hold bongos in between their legs while sitting. When it is used in classical, orchestral, or band music, player attach it to a stand so they can play it even while they're standing. (add more)
