General Remarks

My biggest concern for you guys: Please do your homework!! A lot of you have not handed in your homework!

A few general remarks:

1) For question 1, I find that a lot of you made an assumption in your very first step that Diana must have scored 2 pts against Charlotte, based on the last clue that Diana scored more against Charlotte than Adrian. This is not necessarily true as Diana could have scored 1 pt and still scored more than Adrian did. You would need to show me how you arrived at that step (by figuring out that if Diana only scored 1pt, Bruno would have to score 1pt too and that would not have worked out with other clues)

2a) For question 2: please label your axes and ticks! Always label these when you draw a graph.

2b) Also, your function has to show some asymptotic behaviour near the vertical/horizontal asymptotes. Just drawing a dashed line isn't sufficient. You should show that the function approaches (but is not ON) that dashed line as x or y goes to infinity.

2c) Many of you are confused on what is a jump discontinuity and what is a removable discontinuity. Please review those concepts carefully!
