Echoes:

Echoing voices inside my head,

Echoing sounds across the water,

Echoing words shouted from a mountaintop.

Shattering tones battle from

Inner and outer world,

Clashing thoughts exploding.

Creating something from nothing,

Showing strength and weakness,

Echoes bring it all home.

Like a boomerang it turns

Reflecting on my soul

Speaking my thoughts aloud.
