Learning Objectives

Upon completion of weekly quizzes, successful students will be able to:

• Critically reflect on disciplinary and systemic ways of knowing in the food system
• Articulate current food system theories such as food system sustainability, food security, and food sovereignty
• Apply basic communication, critical thinking and research skills

You will be required to complete short quizzes, either through Canvas or in-lecture, on most weeks in Term 1 and 2. These quizzes will be based on material from readings and lectures and are designed to reward students that are keeping up with weekly readings and attending lectures. The quizzes are worth 10% of the overall course grade.
