Objectives

After completing this lesson, you should be able to:

  • Define and connect the following concepts as they relate to understanding food systems: systems thinking, integrative focusing, food systems literacy, the ecology of knowledge
  • Reflect on the strengths and limitations of reductionist and systems approaches to understanding issues in the food system
