Let's use this as a main page for our LAW 481C group project. Information relevant to the entire group can be posted here (e.g., time constraints, comments on targeting the Law Society audience that will be present, etc.).

Below are links to separate group pages. This way, we can each stay on top of what other teams are doing, to see if there is any overlap / opportunity for synergy / etc.

Here are links to two book sections by Barry Schwartz and Kenneth Sharpe (both at Swarthmore), from "Practical Wisdom" (Riverhead Books, 2010). The File:Practical Wisdom - Mrs Jones.pdf section emphasizes the effect that a lawyer can play on client decision-making, and is meant as a cautionary tale. The File:Practical Wisdom - Law Teaching and Practice.pdf section weaves together some ideas that have come up in class regarding law pedagogy and forms of practice. I've posted them here in case they're of general interest. Also, here's a link to Professor Wexler's article (from 1970): http://www.jstor.org/stable/795211 - Andrew Pilliar
