Course:History 344 Nasty Families/Rules of the Game/Game Phases

Phase I: 1603-1625.

The starting phase. It encompasses the reign of James I. Families have £4000 to spend this phase.

Phase II: 1625-40.

The reign of Charles I to the end of the Personal Rule, so fifteen years total. Families have a base of £3200 more to spend in this phase (since it is shorter) but this could be increased by things that happened in the first phase.

The ages of the original family members at the start of the period are 62 for the father, 52 for the mother, 34 for the eldest son, 30 for the second son, and 32 for the now married (hopefully) daughter.
