This gluten-free ketchup is suitable for various diets, making it versatile for various meals and events.[1] On the other hand, Heinz Tomato Ketchup Style Sauce -"No Sugar Added" provides a similarly rich taste, sweetened solely with ripe red tomatoes and containing 75% less sugar than regular ketchup. It's designed for health-conscious individuals who wish to lower their sugar consumption without compromising on taste.[2]

Why Sucralose?

Sucralose is a sweetener rather than a sweetening agent like honey or maple syrup. Sweeteners can be synthetic molecules or be derived from natural sources. Sucralose is a heat stable sweetener which is desirable as ketchup is often cooked during production. Sucralose provides the sweetness that would be supplied by sugar in the regular version but with 0 kCal and a sweetness index about 600 times that of table sugar.

Compared lists and differences of the two products

As Sucralose is perceived as much sweeter than sugar it is further along the label. Labels list ingredients in order based on proportion in the product. Yeast is also added to the Sugar Free version.
