Team 4 - Digital textbooks

Almost all of us read digital articles but how many read digital novels? What about e-books? How does the market look like? Are people enjoying the digital transition or do they miss turning the pages, writing on the margins, and the coffee stain on some of the pages.

This week we will dive in the Digital Textbook (DT) Market. We start by introducing Digital Textbooks: what they are, their features, how they are created and major players in the market. Then look at the links between different learning theories and Digital Textbooks. We then take a closer look at the Digital Textbook market in K-12 Education with focus on students with special needs and English Language Learning. In each section, there is a learning activity that you would need to participate in. We depend on your contributions to formulating the conclusion by the end of the week. So thanks in advance :)

What's a more efficient way to learn about DT than using one?! Click here to access our Digital Book.

Then participate in the discussions and learning activities in our blog. Don't worry they are completely integrated and you can easily move from one to the other.
