Ecosystem Services are things that nature does for us and we obtain a benefit. These are things like bees pollinating fruit trees and wetlands purifying water. While ecosystem services can be viewed as a resource, pollution and habitat destruction can degrade these systems to a point where they are no longer functional. This is the aspect that we will focus on.
