Create a page
Here are some steps and resources to help you create a page so that it can be easily accessed.
1. Login to the UBC Wiki
Click the CWL button on the top left of the page and login from there.
2. Create Your Project Page
We have made it easy for you to create your assignment page right from here. Just add the title of your project to the box below and click on the create page button (note that you will need to be logged in to the UBC Wiki in order for this to work). On the edit screen that loads, add some text and hit SAVE at the bottom of the page. You can delete this later when you are ready to start writing your article.
4. Begin Writing!
Your new wiki page will be created with some suggested headings and sections.
5. Delete or add Categories
Look at our list of our collaborative list of categories. Please tag your page with the approperiate categories. To do so:
- Click on the edit button.
- On the page editor, click on the page options button (three lines on the right hand side)
- Click on categories, which opens a dialog that lists existing categories and allows you to add new ones.
- Search for the categories you wish to add to your page such as "Book of Poems by a Living Poet" and the category will auto-populate.You can create new categories.
- Click save changes.
